The Supply Chain Management Training Course equips professionals with an integrated understanding of how materials, products, services, information, and funds flow from suppliers to end users, and how these flows can be planned, managed, and improved to deliver reliable service at the lowest total cost. In government entities, ministries, healthcare systems, banks, manufacturing, retail, and distribution companies, and large corporations, supply chain performance directly affects service continuity, operating costs, working capital, stakeholder satisfaction, and the organization's ability to withstand disruption. Effective supply chain management turns separate functions into a coordinated system that supports organizational strategy. In many organizations, procurement, planning, operations, warehousing, transport, and finance each work to their own priorities and measures. Purchasing may focus on unit price while inventory builds up, planning may rely on inaccurate forecasts, warehouses and transport may operate without visibility of upcoming demand, and suppliers may be managed transactionally rather than as partners. These disconnects create excess inventory alongside shortages, amplified demand swings, higher costs, slower response, and vulnerability to supply disruptions. The result is a supply chain that costs more and delivers less than it should. This course provides a practical, end-to-end view of supply chain management. Participants learn core supply chain concepts, the link between supply chain strategy and organizational strategy, and the use of recognized frameworks such as the SCOR model to describe and improve supply chain processes. The program covers demand planning and sales and operations planning, procurement and strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, inventory management, operations and service delivery, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, and returns and reverse flows. It also addresses supply chain integration and collaboration, the bullwhip effect, information flows and digital supply chain technologies, supply chain risk and resilience, sustainable and responsible supply chains, supply chain finance and working capital, and supply chain performance measurement and continuous improvement. The course is delivered through an interactive, application-focused approach with supply chain mapping exercises, simulations, case studies, and group problem solving. Participants leave with an end-to-end supply chain map, a supply chain strategy alignment assessment, a sales and operations planning outline, a supplier segmentation matrix, a supply chain risk assessment, a supply chain KPI dashboard design, and an improvement roadmap for their organization.
