The Resort & Integrated Destination Operations Management Training Course equips destination directors, resort general managers, and operations leaders with the methods needed to run large tourism developments as one coordinated operation. Major tourism projects across the Gulf and Africa bring together hotels, attractions, retail, marinas, utilities, and transport on a single site, often in remote or environmentally sensitive locations, where no single hotel manager controls the guest experience or the cost base. The course focuses on the operating layer above the individual hotel. Participants examine the roles of master developers, destination operators, and hotel brands; shared services and service level agreements; guest flows and mobility; and utilities, waste, and environmental carrying capacity. Because these assets are usually run by different parties under different contracts, the course pays close attention to how decisions are shared, how costs are charged, and how a guest problem is resolved when it crosses operator boundaries. The program also covers pre-opening and phased handover, workforce housing, concessions, destination revenue, safety and crisis management, and community relations, with governance that links them through common indicators. The course is delivered through destination case studies, operating model exercises, tabletop crisis scenarios, and a final workshop. Participants leave with a destination operating model, a shared services matrix, a pre-opening readiness plan, and a performance dashboard they can adapt to their own destination.
