Course Overview

Operational excellence is a strategic approach to improving organizational performance by aligning processes, people, technology, and resources with business objectives. Organizations that adopt a structured operational excellence strategy can reduce inefficiencies, improve service quality, strengthen productivity, control operating costs, and build a culture of continuous improvement. This course provides a practical framework for developing and implementing an operational excellence strategy. Participants will explore performance diagnostics, process analysis, Lean management, continuous improvement methodologies, performance measurement, governance structures, and change management. The programme also examines how to establish improvement priorities, define strategic initiatives, allocate resources, and translate organizational objectives into measurable operational outcomes. Through practical exercises and realistic business scenarios, participants will learn to assess operational maturity, identify performance gaps, establish improvement targets, and develop a phased implementation roadmap. The course emphasizes measurable results, management accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and sustainable performance improvement across industrial, service, government, and corporate environments.
