The Medical & Wellness Tourism Management Training Course equips destination managers, health sector administrators, and tourism officials with the management skills needed to build and run a credible offer for international patients and wellness travelers. Several destinations in the Gulf and Africa see this field as a way to widen their tourism offer and to retain travelers who would otherwise go abroad. The course deals only with the management of the destination and the service, and it contains nothing clinical. Participants examine the visitor journey from first inquiry to return home, the roles of facilitators, hospitals, hotels, and wellness resorts, and the coordination these partners need. Treatment decisions remain entirely with health professionals and are outside its scope. Participants also cover destination positioning, service design, multilingual concierge support, travel and companion services, quality oversight, service recovery, data privacy, and ethical marketing. The course is delivered through destination case studies, journey mapping exercises, and a final destination workshop. Participants leave with a visitor journey map, a facilitator framework, and a service quality plan they can adapt to their own organizations.
