Course Overview

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Course develops the skills required to analyze processes, solve operational problems, reduce defects, and improve organizational performance using structured improvement methodologies. It focuses on applying Lean principles and Six Sigma tools to achieve measurable improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and service delivery. The course covers the DMAIC methodology, process mapping, statistical analysis, measurement system evaluation, process capability, root cause analysis, and statistical process control. Participants learn how to collect and interpret data, identify sources of variation, evaluate process performance, and develop evidence-based improvement solutions. Through practical exercises and case studies, participants develop the capabilities to lead or support improvement projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor results, and establish controls that sustain performance improvements.

Learning Objectives

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to improve operational and administrative processes.
  • Implement the five phases of the DMAIC improvement methodology.
  • Analyze process data using appropriate statistical techniques.
  • Evaluate measurement systems and process performance.
  • Identify root causes of defects, delays, and process variation.
  • Apply process capability analysis and statistical process control tools.
  • Develop and evaluate data-driven improvement solutions.
  • Manage improvement projects using structured plans and performance measures.
  • Establish control mechanisms to sustain achieved improvements.
  • Communicate project findings and recommendations effectively.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for quality managers, process improvement specialists, operations managers, project managers, production supervisors, and professionals responsible for improving organizational performance and process efficiency. It is also suitable for engineers, business analysts, supply chain professionals, maintenance and reliability specialists, and team leaders involved in continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, oil and gas, banking, healthcare, logistics, government, and service industries.

Learning Outcomes

  • Define improvement project objectives, scope, and expected benefits.
  • Develop process maps and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze relevant process data.
  • Apply descriptive statistics and basic inferential statistical methods.
  • Evaluate measurement system reliability and process capability.
  • Use root cause analysis and hypothesis testing to investigate problems.
  • Apply Pareto analysis, cause-and-effect diagrams, and statistical process control.
  • Develop improvement solutions based on verified findings.
  • Monitor project performance using relevant quality and operational indicators.
  • Prepare a control plan and final improvement project report.
