This advanced practical course develops the capabilities required to establish and operate an effective vulnerability and patch management program across enterprise IT environments. It focuses on identifying security weaknesses, assessing their business and technical impact, prioritizing remediation, and maintaining secure and controlled patching processes. The program covers vulnerability discovery, scanning, validation, risk assessment, prioritization, remediation planning, patch deployment, testing, configuration management, exception handling, and continuous monitoring. Participants learn how to connect vulnerability intelligence with asset criticality, exploitability, business exposure, and operational constraints to support informed remediation decisions. Through practical assessment and remediation scenarios, participants will analyse vulnerability findings, distinguish critical risks from lower-priority issues, develop remediation plans, manage patch deployment across different environments, validate corrective actions, and establish measurable processes for improving vulnerability and patch management performance.
