Course Overview

The Training Coordinator Professional Training Course equips training coordinators, learning and development administrators, HR officers, and training center staff with the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, organize, deliver, and administer training activities efficiently and professionally. Training coordinators are the operational backbone of the learning function: they turn training plans into smoothly run programs, manage logistics and records, liaise with trainers, participants, and vendors, and ensure that training is compliant, well-organized, and good value. In government entities, ministries, banks, healthcare systems, universities, and corporations, effective coordination directly affects the quality of learning, the experience of participants, and the credibility of the training function, while poor coordination leads to wasted budgets, disrupted sessions, and dissatisfied stakeholders. The course covers the training coordinator role from the training cycle to continuous improvement. Participants learn the role and responsibilities of the training coordinator and the training and development cycle, supporting training needs analysis and building and administering the annual training plan and calendar. The program then addresses organizing and scheduling training, managing logistics for classroom, virtual, and blended delivery, venues, materials, and equipment, coordinating with internal and external trainers and managing training vendors and contracts, and participant administration, including nominations, invitations, joining instructions, attendance, and communication. Participants also examine learning management systems and training records, budgeting and cost control for training, compliance and mandatory training tracking, supporting different learning formats including e-learning and on-the-job training, evaluating training and administering feedback, assessments, and certificates, reporting and training metrics, stakeholder and customer service skills for coordinators, and using technology and AI tools to work more efficiently. The course is delivered through practical exercises, training plan and scheduling workshops, logistics and problem-solving scenarios, and templates participants can reuse. Participants leave with a training plan and calendar template, a training logistics and session checklist, a joining instructions and communication template set, a training record and reporting template, and a training evaluation and feedback toolkit.
