  • Establishing responsibilities for procurement, quality, operations, and suppliers.
  • Data sources for supplier evaluation, including inspection records, delivery reports, complaints, and audit results.
  • Practical Exercise: Develop a supplier evaluation framework for a selected supplier category, defining evaluation criteria and their business relevance.
Day 2

Supplier Quality KPIs and Performance Measurement

  • Selecting quality KPIs based on supplier risk and organizational requirements.
  • Measuring defect rates, rejection rates, nonconformities, and incoming inspection results.
  • Evaluating on-time delivery, lead-time consistency, and order fulfillment.
  • Measuring corrective action closure, recurrence of defects, and audit performance.
  • Assessing responsiveness, documentation accuracy, specification compliance, and service quality.
  • Defining KPI formulas, data sources, reporting frequencies, targets, and thresholds.

Scorecard Design, Scoring, and Supplier Ranking
