Course Overview

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training Course develops advanced capabilities in process improvement, statistical analysis, project leadership, and operational excellence. It focuses on applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to complex business and industrial challenges, reducing process variation, eliminating waste, and achieving measurable improvements in quality, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction. The course covers advanced DMAIC implementation, statistical hypothesis testing, regression analysis, design of experiments (DOE), process capability, statistical process control, failure analysis, and change management. Participants learn to analyze complex datasets, validate root causes, evaluate improvement alternatives, and establish sustainable process controls. Through practical exercises and case studies, participants develop the skills required to lead cross-functional improvement projects, manage stakeholders, coach improvement teams, and align Lean Six Sigma initiatives with organizational objectives and strategic performance targets.

Learning Objectives

  • Apply advanced Lean Six Sigma principles to complex operational and business processes.
  • Lead improvement projects through all five DMAIC phases.
  • Use advanced statistical methods to investigate process variation and validate root causes.
  • Apply regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and design of experiments.
  • Evaluate process capability, stability, and performance.
  • Develop and validate solutions that reduce defects, waste, and operating costs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage improvement project risks.
  • Establish control systems that sustain process improvements.
  • Evaluate project benefits and financial impact.
  • Coach Green Belt and Yellow Belt practitioners in structured improvement methods.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for senior quality professionals, process improvement managers, operational excellence leaders, experienced engineers, and project managers responsible for leading complex improvement initiatives. It is also suitable for Green Belt practitioners seeking advanced expertise, reliability and maintenance managers, business excellence specialists, and professionals in manufacturing, oil and gas, banking, healthcare, logistics, government, and other sectors where advanced process improvement and data-driven decision-making are essential.

Learning Outcomes

  • Lead structured improvement projects aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Develop project charters, business cases, and measurable improvement targets.
  • Apply advanced statistical analysis to operational and quality data.
  • Validate root causes using statistical evidence and structured investigation.
  • Design experiments to evaluate process changes and improvement opportunities.
  • Interpret control charts and process capability results.
  • Assess operational risks and evaluate alternative improvement solutions.
  • Calculate project savings and assess financial benefits.
  • Develop control plans and performance monitoring mechanisms.
  • Coach improvement teams and communicate project results to senior management.
