Course Overview

Lean Office and Lean Administration focus on improving administrative efficiency by eliminating unnecessary activities, reducing delays, simplifying workflows, and improving the quality and speed of service delivery. Applying Lean principles to office environments helps organizations reduce operational waste, improve coordination between departments, and make better use of employee time and organizational resources. This course explores practical Lean techniques for administrative and support functions, including document management, approvals, reporting, procurement administration, customer service, internal communications, and cross-functional workflows. Participants will learn how to identify non-value-added activities, map administrative processes, analyze bottlenecks, standardize procedures, and apply tools such as 5S, visual management, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement. Through practical exercises and workplace scenarios, participants will develop the skills to redesign administrative processes, reduce paperwork and rework, accelerate decision-making, and establish measurable performance standards. The course supports organizations seeking more responsive, consistent, and efficient administrative operations without compromising service quality or internal controls.
