Course Overview

The Investor Relations Management Training Course equips investor relations professionals, finance and communication leaders, and corporate secretaries with the strategies, skills, and tools needed to build trust with the investment community, communicate the company's equity story effectively, comply with disclosure obligations, and support a fair valuation and a stable, well-informed shareholder base. Regional capital markets have grown rapidly, with new listings, increasing foreign investor participation, index inclusions, and rising expectations for transparency, governance, and sustainability disclosure. Listed companies, issuers of bonds and sukuk, government-related entities preparing for listing, and organizations pursuing capital market transactions all need professional investor relations to attract and retain investors, manage expectations, and protect credibility in good times and in crises. The course covers investor relations from strategy to execution and measurement. Participants learn the role and strategic value of investor relations, how to build a compelling equity story and investment case, and how to analyze the shareholder register and target investors, including institutional, retail, foreign, and sovereign investors. The program then addresses disclosure regulations and continuous disclosure obligations, inside information and market conduct, results communication, including earnings releases, presentations, and conference calls, guidance policy and consensus management, sell-side analyst and buy-side investor relations, roadshows, conferences, and meetings, and annual general meetings and shareholder engagement. Participants also examine debt investor relations and rating agency engagement, ESG investor relations and sustainability disclosure, digital investor relations and websites, IPO readiness and investor relations for newly listed companies, index inclusion, activist investors, crisis communication, collaboration with the board and management, and measuring investor relations effectiveness through perception studies and key performance indicators. The course is delivered through case studies of regional and international listed companies, equity story development workshops, earnings call and investor meeting simulations, disclosure decision exercises, and crisis communication scenarios. Participants leave with an equity story framework, an investor targeting and engagement plan template, a disclosure decision checklist, a results communication toolkit, and an investor relations program and KPI template.
