Course Overview

Effective teamwork depends on more than bringing people together. It requires a clear understanding of group dynamics, defined responsibilities, mutual trust, constructive communication, and the ability to manage differences while working toward shared objectives. Organizations that understand how teams function can improve collaboration, reduce workplace friction, and achieve stronger collective performance. This course explores the factors that influence team behavior, including team roles, group development, communication patterns, decision-making, conflict management, and accountability. Participants examine practical approaches to building trust, encouraging participation, addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and aligning individual contributions with team priorities. Workplace scenarios and collaborative exercises help translate these concepts into practical team management skills. The programme equips participants with methods to strengthen team cohesion, improve problem-solving, and establish productive working relationships across departments. It also provides practical tools for assessing team effectiveness, addressing performance gaps, and creating a culture of shared responsibility, continuous improvement, and measurable results.
