Course Overview

The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Exam Preparation Training Course equips project managers, agile practitioners, Scrum Masters, product owners, and team leads with the structured review, practical understanding, and exam practice needed to prepare with confidence for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, while strengthening their ability to apply agile and hybrid approaches effectively in real projects. In government entities, ministries, public authorities, banks, healthcare systems, telecommunications, technology, energy, and service organizations, and large corporations, agile ways of working are increasingly used to deliver digital services, products, and change initiatives. The PMI-ACP credential is widely recognized as evidence of practical knowledge of agile principles and a broad range of agile approaches, rather than expertise in a single framework. Many candidates have practical agile experience with one framework but find the breadth of the exam challenging. Questions are scenario-based and test the application of the agile mindset, leadership behaviors, product and value management, and delivery practices across multiple approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, extreme programming, and hybrid methods. Candidates may be unfamiliar with some practices outside their own experience, may approach questions from a traditional project management perspective, or may struggle to identify the most agile response when several options appear reasonable. Without structured preparation and sufficient practice, candidates may find it difficult to interpret situational questions and manage their time effectively. This course provides a comprehensive, structured review aligned with the domains of the current PMI-ACP Examination Content Outline, covering the agile mindset, leadership, product, and delivery, and drawing on PMI agile guidance and widely used agile frameworks. Participants review agile values, principles, and mindset, the rationale for agile and hybrid approaches, and how to tailor approaches to context. The program covers servant leadership, team formation and development, self-organization, psychological safety, collaboration, conflict management, stakeholder engagement, and coaching. Participants then review product-related practices, including product vision and roadmaps, value-driven delivery, backlog management, user stories, prioritization techniques, minimum viable products, customer feedback, and value measurement, and delivery practices, including iteration and release planning, estimation, flow and work-in-progress management, quality practices such as continuous integration and test-driven approaches, risk and issue management, metrics such as velocity, burn charts, cycle time, and cumulative flow, and continuous improvement through retrospectives. Throughout the course, participants practice scenario-based questions, learn techniques for identifying the most appropriate agile response, and complete a full-length practice exam with detailed review and a personal performance analysis. Eligibility requirements, exam content, and application procedures for the PMI-ACP certification are set by the Project Management Institute and should be confirmed on PMI's official website. PMI and PMI-ACP are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. The course is delivered through an interactive, exam-focused approach combining concise concept reviews, practical agile exercises, case scenarios, domain-based practice questions, and a full mock exam. Participants leave with a domain-by-domain study guide, an agile frameworks and practices comparison summary, an agile terminology and metrics reference, a bank of practice questions, a personal study plan, and a mock exam performance analysis identifying areas for further review.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for project managers, Scrum Masters, product owners, agile team leads, business analysts, and team members with agile project experience who plan to pursue the PMI-ACP certification and meet or expect to meet PMI's eligibility requirements. It is particularly valuable for professionals in ministries, government entities, and public authorities delivering digital government services; in banks and financial institutions delivering digital channels and technology projects; in healthcare systems delivering digital health initiatives; and in telecommunications, technology, energy, utilities, and service organizations using agile and hybrid approaches. Professionals transitioning from traditional project management into agile roles will particularly benefit from the course.
