Course Overview

This advanced training course provides a comprehensive framework for designing and developing autonomous robotic systems capable of perceiving their environment, processing information, making decisions, navigating independently, and executing complex tasks with limited human intervention. The program examines the complete architecture of autonomous robotics, covering sensors and perception, localization and mapping, sensor fusion, motion planning, navigation, control systems, decision-making, task planning, communication, and autonomous execution. Participants will explore how these components work together to create reliable robotic systems capable of operating in dynamic and uncertain environments. Particular emphasis is placed on the engineering lifecycle of autonomous robotic systems, from requirements analysis and system architecture through development, integration, simulation, testing, validation, deployment, and performance optimization. The course also addresses safety, cybersecurity, human-robot interaction, reliability, and operational risk management. Through practical exercises, system-design workshops, simulation activities, case studies, and an integrated final project, participants will develop the ability to design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate autonomous robotic systems for industrial, commercial, and enterprise applications.
